This butterfly would look great hanging in a window, under a lamp shade, in a doorway or possibly from a plant stake hovering over your favorite house plant!
The wings are hand-formed copper wire creating a beautiful filigree look. The solder was finished with a copper patina to match the copper wire.
The body is a scrap of opaque pink art glass and is wrapped with decorative wiring that incorporates the ring from which it hangs. Decorative wiring and copper colored glass beads make up the antenna and eyes. The wire was finished with a black patina.
Hand polished to add luster and protection.
