This angel has a pink baroque glass body, hand-formed copper wire wings and wire adornments with decorative soldering. her halo is constructed with braided wire, single and twisted copper wire. Her hair is sculpted solder over copper wire. Her flowing sash is a strip of braided wire. Finished with decorative soldering and an antiqued copper finish. Hand polished.
Hanger is glass beads and copper wire. Stand not included.

“Charis” is Greek for “Grace”
These angels are made from scraps and broken glass that were destined to be thrown away. Discarded. Useless.
The angels represent the wholeness and beauty that God can make from our brokenness – the brokenness that all of us experience. Broken hearts. Broken dreams. Broken relationships. Broken spirits.
Sometimes we need to be broken for healing to begin. The miracle happens in what God does with the pieces. Only God knows how they will go back together. God’s light will shine through your brokenness. In time, we can look back and see the beauty of God’s healing. For it is only by His Grace that we are healed and made whole.
When they were full, He told His disciples, "Collect the fragments so that nothing is wasted.“
